David Beckham has returned to the US after his dad Ted assured him he’d be ok.

David flew into the UK on Wednesday night after Ted suffered a near-fatal heart attack and David, blaming himself, pledged to stay in London for as long as his dad needed him.

A source at the London Chest Hospital, where Ted is being treated, told the Sun: “David was very sweet and brought Ted some home-made fruit punch and a salad.”

“Victoria even took off her sunglasses when she reached the ward.”

“Ted has made a dramatic improvement. David wanted to stay but Ted assured him he would be okay.”

David and Victoria were later spotted together at Heathrow airport, awaiting a flight back to their family in Los Angeles.
