Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck: too nice to argue
Jennifer Garner believes one of the strengths in her relationship with Ben Affleck is that they’re both nice, calm people.
She told Marie Claire recently: “I don’t know what makes [the relationship] work. But it does. One thing that makes it not not work is that we’re both pretty nice.”
“[Ben] is not someone who’s ever going to blow up on anyone. What I mean is, if he’s ever angry with me, he doesn’t act out on it in a weird way or yell at me. And I am the same. So we can handle conflict in a very loving and adult way.”
The couple, who married in 2005, have a 22-month-old daughter together Violet and Jennifer added that they “definitely wonder what it would be like to have another [child]. Hopefully, knock on wood, someday.”
But she sometimes finds it a strain being a working mum - particularly with her family on the other side of the country: “My job is great to have as a mom. I get to take long breaks and then work hard in a really concentrated way. During that concentrated time, it sucks.”
“I can’t live in West Virginia [where she was raised] and do what I do - I’m not going to get lots of jobs there. It bums us out. We haven’t figured it out yet.”
Do you think Katie Price's marriage to Alex Reid will last?
