• It looks like there are more tensions in the Spice Girls camp. After earlier clashes of egos and who’s-doing-what issues between the group as a whole, now Melanie Chisholm and Geri Halliwell have reportedly fallen out over selecting which two new songs will be included on their Greatest Hits CD. According to the Sun, Melanie has written a song to be included on the soon-to-be released album but Geri has objected, and the pair are unwilling to compromise. The group begins their reunion tour in December.
  • Most universities publicise each and every even half-famous celebrity to study on their campus but Bristol University has reportedly shunned former student James Blunt. James attended the university in the early 1990s on a sponsorship with the Army but an inside source from the institution has revealed he’s been left off the notable alumni lists: “He is just too embarrassing. Belting out hits such as You’re Beautiful may earn him a mint, but it won’t inspire top students to join us.”
