• Coleen McLoughlin is reportedly getting broody and told fiance Wayne Rooney that she wants to start trying for a baby before they marry next year. The couple were said to be planning to start their family after their summer 2008 wedding but a friend of the couple’s told the People newspaper: “Coleen said a lot of her mates are getting pregnant and she thinks it is right to start having kids even before they get married.” The source added that Wayne was initially surprised at the idea but is coming around to it.
  • Jimmy Choo founder Tamara Mellon has confirmed that she’s dating Christian Slater. The couple have been dating since August and Tamara said recently she thinks they make a good team: “We were introduced through a mutual friend and things are going well. We seem to be very well matched and have quite a lot in common. Christian is a really good guy, very funny and yes, we are seeing each other.” Christian is currently appearing in Swimming with Sharks in the West End.
