• Paul McCartney and Heather Mills have arranged a secret hearing at the High Court later this week to finally agree on a financial settlement as part of their ongoing divorce case. According to an inside legal source, the presiding judge will explain what he thinks a court would order and the former couple’s representatives will take it from there. Both Heather and Paul are said to be keen to settle in order to avoid a more expensive, and potentially revealing, public hearing. Heather is expected to receive a package worth around £50million.
  • Just a week after losing £30,000 worth of belongings in a burglary, Jade Goody has now lost £10,000 worth of furniture to a second group of thieves. The new items were being delivered to her new £1million home in Essex last week when the van was stolen. Speaking about the second robbery, Big Brother star Jade is quoted in the Sunday Mirror as saying: “Can you believe it? I can’t have people round here to visit because there’s nowhere to sit.”
