Lindsay Lohan: I’m going to stay in Utah to avoid temptation

Lindsay Lohan has revealed she plans to stay in Utah for avoid the temptations of Hollywood.

Lindsay checked out of rehab at the weekend after spending two months at the state’s Cirque Lodge facility and is now said to be holidaying with her dad in the area. When the holiday is over, she’ll return to work in California - but then return to Utah when she’s done.

She told OK magazine recently: “I’m staying in Utah until it’s time to shoot [next film] Dare to Love Me and then I plan on returning to Utah so I can stay focused and avoid other distractions.”

“[I’m going to surround myself] with good people who have their hearts and their minds in the right places.”

But that’s not to say she’s quitting acting: “Absolutely not - never! I’m here to stay. My talent is a gift, and I’m going to use it in the right way.”

The stay at the Cirque Lodge was Lindsay’s third stint in rehab this year, after earlier programmes at Wonderlands and Promises Treatment Centers. She checked into Cirque Lodge at the end of July after her second DUI arrest in two months.

She said: “[I hit] rock-bottom. Everything in my life came to a point where I had to make a decision; the arrest that night helped me come to a point where I had to make one.”

“[Rehab was] sobering, humbling. It made me look at myself, and all of the people, places and things in my life in a different way. I was in there for substance abuse, after all.”

She admitted though that even after the solid two month treatment programme, she’s still worried about relapsing: “If I wasn’t [worried], I’d be living in denial. Temptation is always there, but now I’ll avoid it the right way.”
