Jamelia has got engaged to boyfriend Darren Byfield for the second time, just two months after they went their separate ways.

Jamelia moved out of their shared home in August and returned to her family in Birmingham after their relationship came to an end but after several heart to heart talks late last month, the couple reconciled - then Darren proposed at the weekend.

Bristol City player Darren popped the question after Jamelia threw him a surprise birthday party in London on Sunday night - the Superstar singer accepted immediately.

She said yesterday: “I’m completely over the moon. Darren proposing was a real surprise but I’m totally delighted. I can’t stop smiling!”

The couple dated for three years before their split and have a two year old daughter Tiana together. Jamelia also has a six year old daughter, Teja, from a previous relationship.
