  • Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe are officially single after their divorce was finalised earlier this month. The couple are said to have signed the relevant papers in mid-July but they were only filed with the Los Angeles Superior Court on 5th October. The pair were married for seven years before separating last November and have still to reach a financial settlement and finalise custody of their two children, Ava and Deacon. Up to now, they have amicably shared custody of the eight year old girl and three year old boy.
  • Celebrity Big Brother star Jade Goody has been targeted by thieves for the third time in less than three weeks. Following a £30,000 burglary at her home and losing £10,000 worth of furniture when a van was stolen en route to her new home, Jade’s handbag was snatched from her unlocked car while on the school run with sons Bobbie and Freddie on Tuesday. The £1,000 bag contained £400 in cash, her house keys, make up and pictures of the boys. A friend told the Sun: “She knows she was stupid but she’s absolutely devastated about losing the pictures.”
