Michelle Rodriguez sentenced to 180 days in jail

Lost star Michelle Rodriguez has been sentenced to 180 days in a Los Angeles County Jail for violating the terms of her probation.

The actress, who played Ana Lucia Cortez on the first two seasons of the show, served two days in a Honolulu jail earlier in the year after being arrested on a DUI charge last December. She then spent just four hours and 20 minutes of a two-month sentence in California in May for violating probation from a 2003 drink-driving charge.

Appearing in court yesterday, Michelle is said to have “admitted violating her probation by failing to provide proof of completion of her community service and for consuming alcohol three times while wearing an alcohol monitoring device.”

The judge overseeing the case said Michelle must serve at least 120 days of the sentence and must not be transferred to “work furlough or electronic monitoring and is not to be granted early release.”

Michelle must submit herself to the Los Angeles County Jail system before 24th December this year and also faces further 30 days community service with CalTrans waste collection service.
