The Osbournes to auction of furniture and clothes for charity
Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne are de-cluttering their homes in California and England by holding an auction later in the month.
Items for sale are said to range from son Jack Osbourne’s black leather bedroom furniture and items of designer clothing from Sharon’s wardrobe to a pair of Ozzy’s trademark glasses and the quad bike the rocker was riding when he was seriously injured in 2003.
Sharon said recently: “It’s time to unload. We just have an overabundance of possessions that we do not need.”
“Both Ozzy and I have very special memories of each and every item… it is like giving up a part of us, and we hope each and every item finds a very special home.”
Ozzy is said to be less keen on the clear out but Sharon thinks it’s necessary or the houses in Beverly Hills, Malibu and Buckinghamshire: “Ozzy gets very attached to things. He doesn’t like change at all.”
A portion of the £1million auction’s proceeds will go to Sharon’s Colon Cancer Foundation.
