Lily Allen has reportedly fired her music management company after blaming them for the US visa fandango earlier in the year.

An inside source told the Mirror that Lily wants to make a “fresh start” with her second album by moving away from Empire Management: “She is still fuming about the business with her visa being revoked. She felt it was her year to break America and blames her management for not getting it sorted out.”

“It meant pulling out of the MTV Video Music Awards and also meant she couldn’t carry out her promise to tour there in September.”

The source added that Lily feels she has gone as far as she can with the company, whose other acts including Natasha Bedingfield and The Feeling, and resents that after such a successful launch in 2006 that she failed to win any major music awards this year.

But Lily doesn’t have hard feelings towards everyone involved: she is in talks to take personal manager and friend Adrian Jolly with her when she leaves.
