Jude Law

  • Jude Law has been cleared of the assault charges he was threatened with following an incident with a photographer last month. Jude was questioned by police and released on bail after the incident but now the Crown Prosecution Service have decided not to pursue the case. Jude said of the development: “The police have told me that they and the CPS have examined the photographer’s allegation extremely carefully and made the decision that there is no further action to be taken. Of course I am delighted to be vindicated.”
  • Eddie Murphy and fiancee Tracey Edmonds are said to be planning a Christmas-time wedding. Last month, the couple hinted that their nuptials were getting “closer and closer” but a source has now revealed it’ll be a couple more months yet: “They’re getting married on December 28 in Tahiti. The wedding will be intimate, with just immediate family and a few friends.” The new story is backed up by an early quote from Tracey saying she is hoping to marry in “a romantic, secluded spot outside the United States”.
