  • Rose McGowan has reportedly got engaged to her Planet Terror director, Robert Rodridguez. Rumours of marriage plans for the couple have swirled for a few months after Rose started wearing a large diamond ring but now a source close to the couple has told People magazine the rumours are finally true after Robert proposed last month. Robert is said to have left wife Elizabeth Avellan, the mother of his five children, after meeting Rose on the set of the horror pic.
  • Former Atomic Kitten star Jenny Frost has become a mum for the first time after giving birth to a baby boy this week. The boy arrived two weeks later than scheduled and new dad DJ Dominic Thrupp said: “We haven’t picked a name yet. We’re just really pleased and excited. Jen is knackered. I’m going to lavish her with champagne when she can drink again.” Jenny had previously revealed there had been concerns about the baby’s development in the womb but monitoring during her pregnancy proved the fears to be unfounded.
