Spice Girl Melanie C plans family - and bigger boobs
Melanie Chisholm has reportedly got big plans for after the Spice Girls reunion tour - and big ones before it too.
According to the People newspaper, seeing all her bandmates with children has made the star broody and she’s been telling friends that she hopes to settle down with boyfriend Thomas Starr when the group complete their world tour early next year.
Mel told friends: “I have finally grown up. Now I want the whole package. I mean the whole works: marriage, kids and a lovely home. I need this in my life right now to make it complete.”
But before then, Melanie has said she’s concentrating on growing something else: she revealed recently that she’s eating supposedly breast-enhancing biscuits to help expand her cleavage before the first comeback shows in December.
The snacks, named ‘F-Cup Cookies’ contain trans-fats and “breast-enhancing herbs”, which the makers claim will cause targeted weight gain in the desired area.
Mel told BBC Radio 1 recently: “I’ll be a guinea-pig for them. Can you imagine if my boobs got bigger suddenly? That’d be great!”

Melanie C is a very stupid woman if she intends to take these F-Cup Cookies. There is evidence that trans-fats are linked to increased rates of breast cancer and reductions in fertility. The “active ingredient” in these things is a plant-derived chemical that mimics estrogen and it’s dangerous to tinker with your hormones. Moreover, where on your body fat is stored is a genetic predisposition that you can’t change by oral ingestion of plant hormones; if you already have a predisposition to depositing fat in the breast tissue, you don’t need these cookies and if you don’t already have the predisposition, the cookies won’t do what you want them to. On the other hand, they might lead to weight gain, menstrual problems, and a number of other health problems.
