Britney Spears has reportedly said the judge overseeing her custody case is a “mean .. old fart” after his behaviour at last week’s hearing.

Britney met with Los Angeles County Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon last week when she requested an overnight visit with her sons but inside sources disagree whether she was “respectful” towards him or sarcastic.

But the star was overhead during her post-court shopping spree at Neiman Marcus complaining about the man. An onlooker told Us Weekly that she said: “I hate my judge.”

“He is so mean. Just an old fart. He told me I was being catty with him, but he was being catty with me and paid me no respect at all.”

“His job is to sit there and tell people what to do. And that’s just so sad, because he gets off on it.”

Both Britney and Kevin Federline’s legal team had a closed-door hearing at the courthouse yesterday ahead of the next scheduled custody hearing on the 26th October. Britney hopes to regain custody of the children after completing the previously court-mandated drugs tests, counselling and parenting classes.
