Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes can’t say “no” to daughter Suri
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are reportedly following strict Scientology guidelines when it comes to raising their now 18 month old daughter, Suri.
A source close to the family told Us Weekly magazine that even though the toddler is too young to attend classes about the religion, her mum and dad have made sure she’s been following church guidelines since she was born (in a Scientology-approved manner, of course).
Both of Suri’s nannies are members of the church because, according to the inside source, “Tom doesn’t like associating with people who aren’t Scientologists”. And rather than breast milk, she was nursed on a mixture of barley water, milk and corn syrup as advocated by Scientology founder L Ron Hubbard.
The source added that Suri is rarely told off because “it’s all about being positive and supportive” and they prefer to explain the bad behaviour as a “wrong action” rather than telling her to stop it.
But the source said this doesn’t always work because Suri is too young to understand at the moment and the family just end up spoiling the little girl: “Suri pretty much does whatever she wants, whenever she wants.”
“If she fusses before bed, they let her stay up later. If they want her to go swimming and she cries, they’ll take her out. If she whines about food, they’ll ask her what else she wants to eat. They always want to please her.”

What unbelievable garbage masked as facts by “sources close to…”
It is easy enough to know what Hubbard wrote about raising healthy and happy children. Simply go to http://www.ScientologyHandbook. org and scroll down the righ-hand navigational links to the section: “Children.”
There the book Child Dianetics is excellent and teaches parents many “how-to” methods in raising children. Of particular importance is those methods to quickly help a chilld overcome emotional upsets.

I am supposed to believe that Hubbard, a bigamist, had six kids with three wives and was an expert at childrearing. One kid went to jail, another committed suicide, a third publicly denounced him in a long interview in Penthouse. Who cares what he wrote.
