Amy Winehouse spent last night in jail following an arrest for marijuana possession in Norway.

Amy and husband Blake Fielder-Civil were arrested around 6pm yesterday shortly after checking into the Radisson SAS hotel in Bergen.

A source told the Sun: “Police came into the hotel and asked Amy to go with them to the station.”

“It was so quick no one knew what was happening - not even her band.”

“After all the hype of Amy’s drug use it is not surprising police are being extra cautious when she crosses borders - whether she has done something or not.”

A spokesperson for the city’s police reports that the couple were found to be in possession of 7 grams of the controlled substance but were released around 7am this morning after accepting a 500euro fine: “She’s paid the fine, so this thing is over for us now. Both individuals were very co-operative.”

A second source told the Mirror: “Her management has been keeping a close eye on both her and Blake to try and ensure it was a trouble-free tour.”

“The pair of them have mostly been holed up in their tour bus and have barely been going out. But after Wednesday night’s gig in Copenhagen, her manager flew back to London and it’s since then that the trouble started.”

Amy is said to have spent this morning recovering in the hotel’s spa ahead of a gig in the city tonight.
