• Helen Mirren has revealed why she usually goes for full length dresses for red carpet event - she doesn’t like her legs. She said recently: “I have chunky legs. I always worry about them. They used to be my Kevin Keegans, they went on to be my Gazzas and now they’re my Rooneys.” She added that she hasn’t ruled out liposuction or other cosmetic surgery to improve their appearance: “If I get to the point where it’s depressing me, then I will have it done.”
  • Deborah Harry has hit back at claims she’s unhappy about the casting of Kirsten Dunst in the Blondie star’s forthcoming biopic. Rumours started circulating earlier in the summer than Deborah was unhappy with the choice but she’s now said she has faith in the Spider-Man star: “[Kirsten]’s a really sweet person. I’ve met with her a couple of times and hung out with her socially. She’s probably capable of a lot of things she hasn’t been asked to do yet, and doing something that’s sort of left of centre would be great for her.”
