Jennifer Connelly & Paul Bettany on making their marriage work

Jennifer Connelly and Paul Bettany believe their marriage is a success because they make an effort to spend time together around their busy careers.

Speaking at the Elle Women in Hollywood event in Beverly Hills earlier this week, Jennifer explained: “We don’t do that many films in a year - we try to stagger!”

“It takes a bit of planning, but we spend the vast majority of our time together.”

The pair married in 2003 after meeting on the set of 2001’s A Beautiful Mind and when asked if they had any plans to do anything together again in the future, Paul replied: “Make babies. Or [at least] practice making babies.”

“Oh, you mean work-wise? I’d love to work with Jennifer. She’s quite good at acting, so it would be foolish for me to pass up the opportunity if it came.”
