Kid Rock has been arrested following a fight at a waffle house in Atlanta in the early hours of Sunday morning.

According to reports, the fight started after a customer made a comment after recognising a woman in Kid’s entourage. The two parties exchanged comments before the fight moved into the restaurant’s car park.

Kid, real name Robert Ritchie, was released on $1000 bail after being charged with a misdemeanor count of battery; the customer was charged with felony-level criminal damage to property after breaking a window. Five members of Ritchie’s entourage were also charged with misdemeanors.

The incident marks Kid’s second arrest for fighting in just over a month: he was cited by Las Vegas police after a fight with Tommy Lee at the MTV Video Music Awards last month.
