The couple, who split in August 2006, submitted their signed divorce papers at a Los Angeles court on Monday, almost a year after Chris formally started proceedings citing “irreconcilable differences”. The couple married on New Years Eve in 2000 and have a three year old son, Ryder, together.
  • Liam Gallagher and Nicole Appleton have added fuel to rumours that they’re planning a secret wedding after flying to the US yesterday with various relatives. The couple, with son Gene and members of the former All Saints star’s family, were spotted boarding a flight to Orlando from Gatwick airport yesterday afternoon. But their friend Sara Cox has claimed the pair have already done the legal bit at least. She told Radio 1 listeners yesterday: “Congratulations to Liam and Nicole. They got spliced at the weekend. They did it with no one around. I’m really happy for them.”
