- The 2007 Annual Hollywood Awards took place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel last night with a bit of a random crowd in attendance. The Hairspray cast, including Hollywood boy prince du jour Zac Efron, were there as was fellow newcomer Transformers star Megan Fox - but some older stars were in attendance too, including Brad Pitt (presenting The Assassination of Jesse James co-star Casey Affleck with a “breakthrough” award) and Jennifer Connelly, who looked rather Dita Von Teese-ish in a scarlet cocktail dress.
- Away from the red carpet, Britney Spears was snapped in mallrat mode yesterday - she was spotted at Forever 21 at the Beverly Center then, in a bizarre state of dress, at the Cold Stone Creamery picking up some frozen goodness.
- Ashley Tisdale’s frequent shopping trips with best friend Vanessa Hudgens have clearly expanded her wardrobe plenty: she was snapped in five different outfits during a day of promotional work around New York yesterday.
- While all that’s on Sacha Baron Cohen’s shopping list are groceries - and presumably nappies for his new baby.
- In New York, Katie Holmes was snapped out and about again with daughter Suri on Sunday.
- While Suri’s papa Tom Cruise flew to London for the premiere of his new film Lions for Lambs in Leicester Square last night.
- In Madrid, Cate Blanchett continues to promote Elizabeth, a Golden Age, with a photo call then premiere yesterday.
