Nicole KidmanNicole Kidman has hinted that she might quit her Hollywood career in the near future to concentrate on her marriage and family life.

After a few years as cinema’s golden girl in the early 2000s, Nicole’s recent films have frequently been attacked by critics and failed to set the box office alight.

She told Interview magazine recently: “A lot of my life has been spent living for my work [but now] I’ve found other things in my life that can absolutely fulfil me.”

Nicole has two children - Bella and Connor - with ex-husband Tom Cruise and has made no secret of the fact she would like a baby with husband Keith Urban. But after her marriage to Tom ended in divorce, Nicole is reluctant to say she’ll be with Keith for the rest of her life: “My husband and I are committed to each other and deeply in love. That’s how I would put it. We are working on staying in that place and hopefully we will for the rest of our lives.”

When asked if they were happy together, she replied: “I don’t ever say that.”

“Partly because interviews are done in advance, and you never know where something’s going.

“People’s lives together are complicated and beautiful and that’s what they should stay. They’re very quiet. Complicatedly quiet. They don’t need to be broadcast.”
