So the Spice Girls are going to include pole dancing in their reunion tour stage show? How boring. With all the money being pumped into their comeback, you would have thought they could come up with something a bit more original.

This month alone we’ve seen Take That include it in their tour show (albeit with the gents on the receiving end of the dancing), Coleen McLoughlin planning a private show for fiance Wayne Rooney and Britney Spears doing her thing in her ‘Gimme More’ - and if Britney’s video proved anything, it was that pole dancing is not automatically sexy or interesting.

Apparently the Spice Girls will be accompanied by an all-male dance troupe - I think the only way it could possibly get interesting would be if it was those guys on the poles instead of the Spices.
