Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole has revealed that if her life had turned out differently, she’d have liked to have been a forensic scientist.

She told Real Radio Wales recently: “If I’d had a sensible head on my shoulders when I was at school I’d have loved to have gone into forensic detective work.”

“I find it fascinating - like which way the blood is splattered and stuff.”

Instead, she worked as a child model before winning her place in the girl group on 2002’s Popstars: the Rivals at the age of 19.
