Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle says her ideal man is someone who is a little mysterious and a “bit of a bad boy”.

She told the Sunday Mirror recently: “My ideal man is someone dark and mysterious. Someone with a bit of an edge, a bit of a bad boy.”

“The whole game - as I think of dating - is you want to take someone who’s a wee bit wild and a wee bit unruly, then have a nice relationship and for them to show their sensitive side - but for them to still have that bad boy edge to them.”

But she wouldn’t be drawn on whether that description matches her on-off boyfriend Jesse Metcalfe: “Jesse is a great guy, he really is - he’s gorgeous too.”

“But I don’t want to talk about whether we’re together or not. What happens if we are together and I’m seen with someone or he’s seen with someone? I can’t be bothered with it.”

The couple split up in April but have been spotted together several times recently.
