Lindsay Lohan has cancelled her New Year’s plans to avoid the temptation to party.

Lindsay was scheduled to host a NYE party at Pure nightclub in Las Vegas but has now backed out of the agreement, saying she would prefer to “continue to focus on her work and sobriety” for the time being.

A source told Us Weekly that the event, which was originally supposed to take place on Lindsay’s 21st birthday in July (when she was in rehab in Promises), will still take place at some point, perhaps “another year from now” when Lindsay feels she is up to it.
