Josh Duhamel has said he’d love to have a child with his long-term girlfriend, Black Eyed Peas star Fergie - but they’re not rushing into anything just yet.

Josh told OK magazine recently: “I’ve got a lot of friends with kids. Two of my friends have three kids. They all have kids except for me - so I got to get on the horse!”

“I don’t know. [I feel a little bit] jealous [of my friends]. But I’m taking my time. We’ll do it when it’s right. It’s busy right now for me and my girl. It will happen.”

Josh also plays a dad-to-be in his NBC series Las Vegas and added that the sex scenes with his co-star Molly Sim have made him think about aspects of pregnancy: “Playing a dad-to-be has been fun for me because you get a chance to learn what any sort of guy goes through when he’s expecting. I’ve never been through that and it’s sort of dawned on me as I go [what] would happen. Maybe she would take it as you not being sexually attracted to her when, in fact, maybe you’re just worried that you’re going to hurt the baby.”
