Reese WitherspoonIt looks like Halloween brings out the big kid in all of us - Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal (Gyllenspoon) were reportedly spotted in a rather playful mood while taking Reese’s children trick or treating on Wednesday night.

Reese dressed as a witch and Jake in a full ape suit for the trip around Reese’s Brentwood neighbourhood with her children from her marriage to Ryan Phillippe, eight year old Ava and four year old Deacon.

An onlooker told Us Weekly that when the kids, dressed as a mini-witch and a super hero respectively, went to knock on doors: “Reese and Jake waited on the sidewalk and flirted.”

“Reese was laughing at everything Jake was saying.”

“They were holding hands and swinging them in the air as they walked around the neighbourhood.”

At one point, “Jake tapped Reese on the butt and then she hit him back - they began running a circle hitting each other! Then Jake picked Reese up off her feet and she screamed.”

“[Later] he came up from behind and nuzzled his big hairy mask into her neck.”

But not all of Jake’s attention was reserved for Mum: “Jake ran up to Deacon with the gorilla mask and pretended to scare him. Deacon laughed.”
