To my understanding Mr. Labeouf was “drunk” and didn’t want to leave when asked.
I personally didn’t see why they had to call the police; as the security guard could’ve escorted him out without incident.
I’m wondering if this whole thing was not a publicity-plot to get Mr. Labeouf media attention; as he is here in Chicago for the filming of a “movie” with actor Harrison Ford.
If it was NOT a publicity-plot; then my heart goes out to Shia Labeouf: as he appears to be a good “kid”/nice guy who was shown the rudely/churlish/arrogant side of Chicago’s “self-centered (cop wanna-be) security-guards” and “heavy-handed (as well as trigger-happy) Chicago cops !

P.S. Shia isn’t the only one being “unnecessarily” arrested for “tresspassing” here in Chicago; as I have also been many a times (for political retributive reasons) harrassed by “pompous/arrogant” security-guards & trigger-happy/crazy Chicago cops !
