Katie HolmesKatie Holmes surprised runners in the New York Marathon yesterday by joining the race unannounced.

Runner F127 ran the 26.2mile route through the city’s five boroughs in 5 hours, 29 minutes and 58 seconds, dressed in a purple vest, black leggings and a FDNY baseball cap.

Katie’s husband Tom Cruise and daughter Suri briefly stopped her for a kiss outside their hotel on the Upper East Side about 20 blocks before the finish line, then met up with her again when she crossed the line.

She was heard giggling “Here I am baby, signed, sealed, delivered, I’m yours,” as she ran into Tom’s arms at the end of the race for a hug and a kiss.

Speaking to reporters at the end of the run, Katie said she felt “good, but I’m feeling very tired” and every part of the run was “challenging”. Tom added that he was “very proud” of his wife, saying she was “very inspired” and had “trained for three months” before the road race.

Katie has previously revealed that she started running at the age of 12 when her dad used to take her on three-mile runs around her hometown of Toledo, Ohio and that she ran off her baby weight after giving birth to Suri last ye
