  • Last week it was Ashley Olsen and Lance Armstrong but this week’s odd, age-gap rumoured couple is Mandy Moore and Matthew Perry. A source at the Amici Trattoria in Beverly Hills told the New York Post the pair had a date in the restaurant recently: “He was already seated and waited for her for 15 minutes until she arrived. He stood up to greet her and gave her a kiss on the cheek. They were holding hands across the table and being really close and laughing a lot the whole time.”
  • Britney Spears‘ mum Lynne Spears has said she blames herself for Britney’s problems of late. Lynne, who is currently co-writing parenting book, is quoted in Life & Style as saying: “For everything that’s gone wrong for Britney, I blame myself. I didn’t raise my children to have Hollywood careers. This all just exploded in my face, and big dreams became big headaches.” But after tenions earlier in the year, Lynne insists she’s back in contact with her oldest daughter: “We’ve reunited. We’re friends.”
