Penny Lancaster has revealed that her participation in celebrity talent show Strictly Come Dancing is playing havoc with her love life - because it’s leaving her too tired for sex with husband Rod Stewart.

Penny said recently: “Rod understands all in all, but the show is a passion killer.”

“There’s looking after my son as well as doing all the rehearsals and I’m really exhausted, to be honest.”

She added that she often invites dance partner Ian Waite to their house for meals and it’s changed the whole dynamic of the household: “Our household [conversation] used to be all about free kicks, passes and football.”

“Now it’s paso dobles and foxtrots.”
