Jessica SimpsonSources close to Owen Wilson and Jessica Simpson have urged fans not to marry the couple off just yet.

The pair were romantically linked last week after being spotted together first at a bar in Santa Monica then dining together at the Waverly Inn in New York.

A source close to Jessica told Us Weekly that the pair have a definite “natural attraction based on [their shared] southern values” but after two very public relationships, Jessica is keen to take things slowly: “she didn’t think dating would be so hard!”

And a source close to Owen expressed similar sentiments: “Owen finds Jessica hilarious, but he’s talking to lots of girls at the moment.”

Owen finished with Kate Hudson in early May while Jessica split from on-off boyfriend John Mayer later than month.
