Russell Crowe admits he loves shopping
His various on-screen roles and off-screen temper tantrums might suggest he’s got old-fashioned ideas about being a macho man, but Russell Crowe has revealed he’s got a soft spot for shopping.
He told Men’s Journal recently that he enjoys hitting the stores with his wife Danielle: “I love going shopping. I have a black belt in it. My wife really appreciates that in me. Whatever you need, mate, I’ll get it.”
“I can do the supermarket in six minutes. I can pick out the first nine things my wife would like to try on. I’m not bragging; it’s fact. I have retail-therapy issues. But I am cool with that. I shop with a big smile on my face.”
But he insists that even such bonding pursuits hasn’t given him much useful knowledge about dealing with the opposite sex and he doesn’t know what advice he’ll be able to give his sons Charlie and Tennyson about women as they grow up: “Look, when it comes to women, you are talking about mysteries that haven’t been unraveled by the wisest scholars of all time. I’m not going to be able to do that. But I can teach my sons to respect them.”
Do you think Katie Price's marriage to Alex Reid will last?
