• Nick Carter has said that his experience dating Paris Hilton hasn’t put him off dating other celebrities - but now he has a more strict criteria. The former Backstreet Boy dated the socialite for eight months in 2004 but didn’t particular enjoy their time together. He’s now said: “But I’d still go out with another celeb. She’d need to be able to have an intelligent conversation though, because Paris couldn’t.”
  • KT Tunstall was reportedly more angered than flattered when her song ‘Black Horse and the Cherry Tree’ was used on American Idol last year. The fifth season’s eventual runner-up Katharine McPhee sang the song twice during her appearances on the show but KT was less than pleased - not because of the performance but because of the show itself. She’s quoted as calling the talent show, a “money-making puppet show” and complains: “There’s no control given to the people. They are nationally humiliated for being themselves. Horrible.”
