Britney Spears has reportedly revived plans to write her own tell-all book as a counter-attack to her mum Lynne Spears‘ forthcoming book on parenting.

A source told the People newspaper that Britney thinks her mum is just out to make “a quick buck” by co-writing the guide.

The source claims Britney told friends: “I’m sure she’ll make it look like she was a great mother and all my problems have nothing to do with her.”

“I am tired of other people writing about me. I want to speak for myself.”

“If it ends my career, so be it. People appreciate the truth. I’ll be bigger than ever.”
