Kevin FederlineKevin Federline is said to not be worried by news that ex-wife Britney Spears has hired a private detective to gather dirt on him - but is glad she’s finally conceded to hiring a driver so that she can concentrate on looking after their sons rather than dodging the paparazzi.

Speaking about the private investigator rumour yesterday, Kevin’s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan told Us Weekly: “I think that if that is what they need to do, or have to do, to have at it. I don’t think it will, in anyway, be a good expenditure of funds. But I can’t stop that from happening.”

“I don’t think he would be concerned about it, and I don’t think he has to change anything he is doing in order to address that.”

After footage of Britney seemingly jumping a red light while driving with their sons Sean and Jayden earlier in the month, last week Team Federline requested that she be banned from driving with the boys in the car.

Kaplan added that news that she’s now hired a driver is positive: “anything that puts the children in a car that reduces the risk … I am all for that.”

But Kevin is unlikely to follow suit because he’s not one for cruising around with the boys: “He’s pretty good about keeping the kids at home with him unless there is really a compelling reason why they need to be going somewhere.”
