Life & Style Weekly reports that the star has been secretly dating waiter Michael Marchand for a couple of weeks after meeting him at his place of employment, Mirabelle.

An inside source told the magazine that it was lust at first sight for the pair: “Their chemistry was immediate. He’s very turned on by her. They’re always texting each other.”

The couple are said to have been out to dinner together several times and were snapped together leaving a restaurant on Tuesday this week. An onlooker told the magazine: “Michael came in a little after midnight, and she came in right after.”

“They were being discreet. Forty-five minutes later, they left the restaurant together. He was charming. He made Britney laugh and looked at her with this secret smile. They left in separate cars.”

When asked about the romance this week, Michael smiled and said: “I can’t talk about that right now.”
