• Celebrity Big Brother housemates Chantelle Houghton and Preston’s divorce was finalised yesterday, less than two years after they met in the reality show’s house. The couple met in January 2006, married in August of that year but then split in June this year. Chantelle is said to have been granted a quick divorce on the grounds of Preston’s “unreasonable behaviour”, which he didn’t contest. The couple are expected to divide their assets 50-50 even though Chantelle made more money during their short marriage.
  • Former New Kid on the Block star and Dancing with the Stars contestant Joey McIntyre became a dad for the first time on Tuesday after his wife Barrett gave birth to a baby boy. The as-yet unnamed boy weighed in at 7lb 12oz and a spokesperson for the couple said yesterday: “The family is happy and healthy. Everyone’s doing well and they’re excited he made it here in time for Thanksgiving.”
