Amy Winehouse’s mum has said she thinks the show must go on for Amy even though her husband Blake Fielder-Civil is in jail.

Amy’s £1million UK tour kicked off on a bum note last week as fans in Birmingham booed then walked out of the gig in response to Amy’s behaviour on stage but recent shows over the weekend have garnered much better reviews.

Amy’s mum Janis told the Mirror: “My heart goes out to her. She is under immense stress over Blake’s imprisonment.”

“I wouldn’t hesitate to tell her to pull out if I feared she was in danger. I don’t want Amy destroying herself.”

“But I think she will get by and come through what is a terribly lonely time for her right now.”
