Melanie Brown’s success on Dancing with the Stars is reportedly causing problems for the Spice Girls‘ comeback tour rehearsals tour.

The reformed girl group were surprised when Mel reached the final of the celebrity talent show but worried when they realised that would mean she has to concentrate on preparing for that show on Monday rather than the Spice Girls tour, with starts in Vancouver in just over a week.

A source told the Sun: “The opening night is days away yet there hasn’t been much time for rehearsals.

“A lot of Mel’s time has been taken up with preparations for each Dancing with the Stars [show]. The girls are really proud of her but at the same time they’re worried that Mel will give her all to the dance show and be exhausted for the start of the tour.”

“Rehearsal time has been cut down a great deal because of Mel’s commitments to the TV show. It’s not ideal.”

Melanie is favourite to win the dance-off show after being award perfect scores for Paso Doble, Waltz and Rumba dances.
