Paris Hilton reportedly refused to pay for hair extensions last week because she was shocked the salon dared to ask her to pay the full amount.

The socialite had Dreamcatchers hair extensions attached, to give her a long, lop-sided fringe, at The Salon in the Beverly Hills Hotel but according to the Sun, she was shocked when she was presented with the bill for $1400.

A salon source told the newspaper that Paris had recently promoted the brand so expected to get them for free: “We just didn’t know where to look.”

“Paris was telling the staff that she was their muse and that there was no way she was paying full price.”

The source added that eventually the salon manager eventually reached a compromise with the heiress, allowing her to pay just half of the cost.
