Britney Spears‘ family are reportedly planning another intervention to attempt to persuade the star to get help.

According to OK magazine, her parents Jamie and Lynn Spears attempted an impromptu intervention at Britney’s Malibu home last month but it was unsuccessful so they’re regrouping for a second try.

A source told the magazine: “Brit’s parents, her brother Bryan, and her sister Jamie Lynn, were all hopeful she’d do what she needed to do to keep her children.”

“But she seemed to just thumb her nose at everyone. So they are going to attempt another intervention and hopefully save her from herself.”

“Her sister and brother have been meeting with their parents to figure out the best way to confront Britney. They know she needs a huge wake-up call if she is going to be successful in keeping her children and putting her life back on track.”

Britney is said to have become estranged from her parents after she felt they “pushed” her into rehab earlier in the year but has since reconciled with her mum Lynn.
