Girls Aloud’s Nicola Roberts has reportedly moved out of the home she shared with her boyfriend Carl Davis and is considering whether their relationship is over for good.

Nicola is said to have been left in tears after the couple had an argument last weekend, just minutes before Nicola was set to step on stage at G.A.Y. in London. Nicola’s bandmates had to step up and defend her after Carl verbally abused her.

A source told the People newspaper: “Things haven’t been good for a while. He finds it hard to deal with her success and the fact that she has lots of male fans.”

“She and the other girls put most of their time into the band. But Carl wants to be with her all of the time.”

But now he’ll be seeing her even less after she moved out of the home they shared in Kent: “She doesn’t want to be around him. She needs a bit of space to sort out what she wants.”

“Their relationship is very much on the rocks at the moment.”

The couple met through mutual friends a year ago.
