Kid Rock has described his marriage to Pamela Anderson as a “nightmare” but his biggest regret about it was that her kids were pulled into it.

Pamela and Kid married in St Tropez in July 2006 after a whirlwind reconciliation but then filed for divorce again just four months later. Their divorce was finalised in February this year and Pamela has since married Rick Salamon.

Kid, real name Robert Ritchie, told Extra recently: “Getting married was a ball. Being married was a nightmare.”

But even still, their separation hurt: “Whenever you go through a divorce and you are in love with another person, you are hurt.”

He also admitted he missed Pamela’s sons, Brandon and Dylan, from her previous marriage to Tommy Lee: “The saddest thing is there were kids involved. They don’t make as much sense of it as we do as adults.”
