  • Kim Kardashian has said she had an ulterior motive in posing for Playboy - not money or fame but to be a good role model. She explained recently: “I did it because I’m not one of those stick-skinny girls you see. I felt like girls today need to see a normal body.” And if she needed any further persuading to strip for the Christmas issue of the magazine, she got it from a surprising quarter: “My mum actually pushed me to do it! I think she’s living vicariously through me a little bit.”
  • While the Spice Girls have big plans for their comeback tour, they’re not planning on making a second Spice World film. Melanie Brown said recently: “We had so much fun [making the first film], I don’t think we could top it.” But the group are making themselves a documentary of their reunion: “We all have cameras and are videoing each other, In Bed With Madonna-style, but not for anyone else’s view!” The group’s long-anticipated tour kicks off in Vancouver on Sunday.
