Melanie Brown might have been combining hectic rehearsal schedules for Dancing with the Stars and the Spice Girls reunion tour over the last few weeks but she insists that she’s still managed to find time for husband of five months, Stephen Belafonte.

Melanie and Stephen had been friends for a few years before marrying in a secret, quickee ceremony in Las Vegas in June and she said about her new husband recently: “He’s amazing. I’m so secure in my marriage. I’m still in love. We have me-and-him time every morning and every night. He’s priceless.”

Stephen has become a step-dad to Mel’s daughters Phoenix and baby daughter Angel, and the girls like him so much too that Mel has been inspired to expand their family further in the future: “We want more kids, two maybe, but not for a few years.”

And as if the dance show, comeback tour and being a mum of two wasn’t enough for Melanie, she is also planning a acoustic gig in Los Angeles next week in a bid to kickstart her solo career again.

Mel is set to play at the Mint nightclub on 6th December and her spokesperson explained: “Melanie thought a day off would be an ideal opportunity to show LA what she and the band are about.”
