Coleen McLoughlin was spotted stocking up on junk food to keep fiance Wayne Rooney in snacks while she goes on a Christmas shopping trip to New York later this week.

An onlooker at the Co-op store near their home in Prestbury, Cheshire picked up the WAG’s £45.29 receipt after she left it behind at the checkout and told the Sun: “It was just lying on the counter so I thought I’d have a nosey. You always imagine someone with so much money would be buying champagne and fine foods but it was basic.”

Coleen’s shopping list included 28 bags of crisps (McCoy’s, Quavers and Walkers), five fudge bars, a multi-pack of Red Bull, mineral water, ready meals including a pasty and Rustlers chicken sandwiches - and a single can of sweetcorn.

The onlooker added: “I hope it’s not her weekly shop for Wayne because it didn’t seem like the ideal diet for a top sportsman.”

“There wasn’t any fruit or fresh veg in sight. Her four bags were crammed with snacks.”
