Chantelle Houghton has said she worries her marriage to Celebrity Big Brother housemate Preston was a “complete lie” after reports that he’s now back together with his former fiancee.

Ordinary Boys’ star Preston was engaged to Camille Aznar when he appeared on the celebrity reality show but finished with her after meeting Chantelle in the house in January 2006. Preston and Chantelle then went on to have a publicity-heavy whirlwind relationship: marrying in August 2006 but splitting just ten months later in June this year. Their divorce was granted last month on the grounds of Preston’s “unreasonable behaviour”.

After seeing pictures of Preston and Camille last month, Chantelle told OK magazine recently: “It worries me that he’s got back together with Camille because it makes me think that our relationship was a complete lie.”

“I think maybe he just went out with me because of what was going on around us at the time. So was it a lie? I can’t help but think that.”

“I just want to forget I was married. I feel embarrassed and I feel like I need to apologise to the people who believed in us.”

“When I married Preston, I was just blind to it. I just didn’t think about what I was doing. I was living this great life and I just got swept up in it.”

“I know that when I married him I loved him. But then he changed. He wasn’t the person I met.”
